HONOR ~ Not something bought or sold, but values
passed down through generations. For
many years, children and families have received these values from the veterans
that support them and the homeland where they grow.
The Veterans of Foreign Wars, Department of California Foundation is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization that relies on public and
corporate donations to support programs that promote citizenship, education and
volunteerism and facilitate aid for active duty military, veterans and
their families in need of medical, rehabilitation, educational and employment
services.
The Veterans of Foreign Wars, Department of California Foundation was
launched in 2001 to raise funds for programs such as the VFW Voice of
Democracy, Patriots Pen, Teacher of the Year award and other recognition
programs, as well as to support the veterans, past and present, here in California through the work of dedicated field service officers. It is
because of your support and generosity that we are able to continue with these
programs.
Although the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Department of California Foundation is separate from the Veterans of Foreign Wars,
its commitment is the same; improving the lives of veterans and active duty
personnel, their families and their communities.
